Ky-Mani's birthplace in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is one of greatest and most rich Reggae singers. He was in Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. like Father Like Son and several singles: Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia each of which contributed to his rising popularity in the new wave of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell from Fugees for Avenue in 1997, which proved to be a massively successful cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was first seen at the Cameo Theatre in Miami at Midem. Marley gave a concert at the Cameo Theatre which was live streamed across 36 nations. Marley became the subject of bidding wars. In 1997, the singer agreed to sign a deal with Gee Street/V2 Records and completed the project in conjunction with P.M. Dawn on the single Gotta To Movin On up. ...
